Charitable Donation
The Brockville & District Association for Community Involvement is a non-profit charitable organization and a member of the United Way. Charitable donations help BDACI to maintain its independence and to provide a range of activities and supports to help people with intellectual disabilities and their families that are not funded by the government.
- General Association: Donations provide direct assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families within the Leeds & Grenville.
- Legacy Fund: Donations provide a source of non-governmental funds that could be used to create, support and sustain an action strategy that are creative alternatives to the existing segregating and congregating options .
- Brockville Community Foundation: Community Involvement Legacy Endowment Fund. The BDACI endowment fund was established, in particular, so families of people with disabilities could have a place to leave a permanent legacy. Earnings from the fund will go to support the efforts of BDACI to continue to provide for a safe, secure and positive future for people with disabilities.
